The Preamble is a song from "America Rock!". It is sung by Lynn Ahrens about the Constitution. The prologue, first verse and first time singing the refrain, take place in scenes of the 18th Century (especially 1787 when the Constitution was written) when there were only the 13 Colonies, while during the second verse and second time singing the refrain, it takes place in the present time of its airing, while the entire country is all states, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Just to make it rhyme and stay in rhythm, parts of the original Preamble were removed.
In the prologue, Betsy Ross appears sewing the American flag.
This song teaches about the opening to the United States Constitution, with its preamble set to music. When writing this song, they had to remove a small section of the preamble to make the song rhyme.
